PENINGKATAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PECAHAN SEDERHANA MELALUI MEDIA BUKU PECAHAN PADA SISWA KELAS III

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III pada mata pelajaran Matematika dengan pokok bahasan pecahan sederhana melalui penggunaan media buku pecahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SD kelas III. Teknik analisis data adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media buku pecahan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan proses pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas III. Pada siklus I rata-rata nilai yang diperoleh 71,42 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,71. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan pada siklus I sebanyak 16 siswa atau sebesar 76% pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 20 siswa atau sebesar 95%. Peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran dapat dilihat pada akhir siklus I yaitu aktivitas siswa mencapai kriteria baik dengan nilai keberhasilan 71,4 kemudian meningkat pada akhir siklus II yaitu aktivitas siswa mencapai kriteria sangat baik dengan nilai keberhasilan 89,2.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class III students in Mathematics with a simple fraction subject through the use of fraction book media. This type of research was Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were third grade elementary school students. Data analysis techniques were descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study showed that fraction book media can improve learning outcomes and the mathematics learning process of third grade students. In the first cycle the average value obtained 71.42 increased in the second cycle to 75.71. The number of students who achieved completeness in the first cycle was 16 students or 76% in the second cycle increased to 20 students or 95%. The increase in learning activities can be seen at the end of the first cycle, namely the activities of students achieved good criteria with a success value of 71.4 then increased at the end of the second cycle, student activities reached very good criteria with a success value of 89.2.
