Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Jawa materi Sastra menggunakan pendekatan Contextual Teaching Learning Kelas III SDN Rejowinangun I Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian adalah 26 siswa kelas III SDN Rejowinangun 1. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, portofolio, dan tes evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengamati proses belajar dan tes evaluasi untuk mengetahui hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan pendekatan CTL pada materi sastra Jawa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil nilai rerata kelas pratindakan sebesar 62,11 dengan predikat “cukup” meningkat menjadi 75,08 dengan predikat “baik”. Upaya meningkatkan proses belajar siswa ditempuh dengan menerapkan tujuh komponen pada pendekatan CTL yaitu konstruktivisme, inkuiri, bertanya, masyarakat belajar, pemodelan, refleksi, dan penilaian sebenarnya. Keaktifan siswa pada pratindakan sebesar 18,50% dengan kategori “sangat kurang” meningkat menjadi 88,37% dengan kategori “sangat aktif”. Pada akhir siklus, penelitian telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan dengan predikat “baik” dan 80,76% siswa telah mencapai KKM.

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the learning outcomes of Javanese literature using contextual teaching learning approach in the third grade of Rejowinangun I Elementary School in Yogyakarta. This was collaborative classroom action research. The research subjects were the elementary students total 26 students of 3rd grade. The data were collected using test, portfolio, and observation. The techniques of analyzing data using quantitative and qualitative description. The result of the research showed that using contextual teaching learning approach in Javanese literature could improve students learning outcomes. Improvement learning outcomes in Javanese lesson can be seen from the students’s pretest and posttest on research process. The average value of the learning outcomes of the cognitive aspect in preresearch is 62,11  in predicate “acceptable” increase to be 75,08 in predicate “good”. Attempt to improve learning proccess with applied seven components in CTL its are contructivism, inquiry, asking question, learning community, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. The observation result shown that preresearch student activity is 18,50% categorized as “need improvement” increased to 80,76% categorized as “very active”. In the end of the research cycle has reached the indicators of success and ≥75% students have reached the minimum score.
