UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PERCAYA DIRI SISWA KELAS V PADA TEMA 7 BERMUATAN IPS MENGGUNAKAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan percaya diri siswa kelas V pada Tema 7 bermuatan IPS melalui metode bermain peran di SD Negeri  Widoro. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data angket, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode bermain peran pada Tematik bermuatan IPS dapat meningkatkan percaya diri siswa kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil angket yang diperoleh siswa pada setiap akhir siklus menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar IPS. Persentase ketuntasan pada pratindakan sebesar 33,33%, Siklus I sebesar 58,33%, dan siklus II sebesar 91,67%. Secara proses, menunjukkan bahwa kualitas proses pembelajaran menjadi meningkat, terlihat dari siswa lebih aktif, komunikatif serta suasana pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan.

Abstract 

This research aims at improving the self-confidence of Grade V students in Theme 7 social studies through role playing methods at SD Negeri Widoro. This type of research was Classroom Action Research (CAR), using the Kemmis and Taggart models. The subjects were 24 students. Questionnaire data collection techniques, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used quantitative and qualitative descriptive . The results show that the use of role playing methods in social studies can increase student self confidence. Based on the results of the questionnaire obtained by students at the end of each cycle, it show an increase in social studies learning outcomes. The percentage of completeness in pre-action was 33.33%, first cycle 58.33%, and second cycle 91.67%. In the process, it shows that the quality of the learning process is increasing, it can be seen from the students being more active, communicative and the learning atmosphere is more enjoyable.
