LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN BAGI ANAK CEREBRAL PALSY DI KELAS II SD NEGERI BANGUNREJO 2 YOGYAKARTA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan layanan pendidikan bagi anak cerebral palsy di kelas II SD Negeri Bangunrejo 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi anak cerebral palsy, guru kelas, guru pendamping khusus, guru mata pelajaran, dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi dan wawancara. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah melakukan layanan pendidikan berupa asesmen fisik, psikologi, dan akademik. Program pendidikan individual yang diberikan kepada anak cerebral palsy dilakukan secara spontan. Akomodasi pembelajaran yang diberikan adalah akomodasi materi, akomodasi waktu dan penambahan jeda, akomodasi metode pemberian soal, dan akomodasi lingkungan. Guru kelas tidak mengetahui hambatan penyerta anak cerebral palsy. Penataan lingkungan belajar di sekolah mengarah ke sekolah ramah inklusi. Bimbingan belajar menulis tidak berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the educational services for children with cerebral palsy in second grade SD Negeri Bangunrejo 2 Yogyakarta. The research design was descriptive qualitative research. Subject of this research were a cerebral palsy student, shadow teacher, homeroom teacher, headmaster, and subjects teachers. Data collection techniques used observation guidelines, interview, and documentation. Research instruments used observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Data test validity used triangulation techniques and sources, reference materials and member checks. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: The school has conducted education which forms psychological, physical, and academic assesments. Individual education program  provided to disabled children are learning accomodations and writing learning guidance. Teaching model modification used materials modification, time modification, modification of evaluation, and environment modification. Homeroom techer and shadow teacher have not done the division of work properly. Writing learning guidance does not work well because it is not scheduled and is constrained by the physical condition of disabled children with cerebral palsy who is easily tired.
