PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IV MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SD Negeri Serut, Gedangsari Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 dengan menggunakan  Pembelajaran Matematik Realistik (PMR). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Serut, Gedangsari, Gunungkidul. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Serut sebanyak 12 siswa yang terdiri dari 5 siswa laki-laki dan 7 siswa perempuan. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan Pembelajaran Matematik Realistik (PMR). dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SD Negeri Serut. Pada pratindakan siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 1 siswa (8,33%). Siklus I siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 8 siswa (66,67%) dan presentase aktivitas siswa mencapai 81,94% kategori sangat baik. Pada siklus II siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM meningkat menjadi 11 siswa (100%) dan presentase aktivitas siswa meningkat menjadi 92,4% kategori sangat baik. Peningkatan hasil belajar pratindakan ke siklus I sebesar 58,33%. Peningkatan siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 33,33%.

Abstract

This research aims at improving the fourth-grade students’ mathematics achievement applying realistic mathematics education approach in SDN Serut, Gedangsari school year 2018/2019. This research was conducted in Serut elementary school, Gedangsari, Gunungkidul. The subjects of this research were 12 students the fourth-graders of SDN Serut which were consisted of 5 male students and 7 female students. The outcomes of research with implementation of realistic mathematics education approach can improve the mathematics learning result in fourth grade SDN Serut. In pre-action, there are 1 student (8,33%) who achieve the KKM. In first cycle, there are 8 students (66,67%) who achieve KKM and the percentage of students’ activity is 81,94% good category. In second cycle, KKM achievement increase to 11 students (100%) and the percentage of students’ activity increase to 92,4% very good category. The pre-action improvement of the learning result in first cycle was 58,34%. While the improvement of learning result from first cycle to second cycle was 33,33%.
