Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran PKn di kelas IV SD Negeri Jeruksari dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 4 tahap. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan catatan harian. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keaktifan siswa, lembar observasi kegiatan guru, dan catatan harian. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran CPS dalam pembelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas IV. Persentase jumlah siswa yang berhasil mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian mengalami peningkatan dari pra tindakan 0% siswa, siklus I/1 hanya 7,14% siswa, siklus I/2 menjadi 28,57% siswa. Pada siklus II/1 sebanyak 64,29% siswa kemudian siklus II/2 menjadi 100% siswa.

Abstract

This research aimed to increase fourth grade students’ activeness in Civics learning in SD Negeri Jeruksari by implementing Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of four steps. The subjects of this research were fourteen students of fourth grade. Observation and daily journal were used as data collecting techniques. The instruments used for this research were observation sheets of students’ activeness, observation sheets of teachers’ activeness, and daily journal. Data analyzing techniques used in this research were descriptive-quantitative and descriptive-qualitative. The result of this research showed that the use of CPS learning model in Civics learning was able to increase fourth grade students’ activeness in SD Negeri Jeruksari. The percentage of the number of students that reached the indicator of research success experiences an increase from pre-action 0% student, 7.14% student on Cycle I/1, 28.57% students on Cycle I/2. Then, 64.29% students on Cycle II/1 and 100% students on Cycle II/2.
