UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MATERI PECAHAN SEDERHANA MELALUI MEDIA KARTU PECAHAN DI KELAS III SD NEGERI 2 WATES

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Wates tahun ajaran 2017/2018 melalui media kartu pecahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan model Kemmis & McTaggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu pecahan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Wates. Hasil observasi pada siklus I dan II menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media kartu pecahan dari 68% menjadi 83,3% dan aktivitas guru meningkat dari 73,3% menjadi 85%. Peningkatan presentase siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM pada siklus I dan siklus II sebesar 20,8% yakni dari 24 siswa (72,7%) menjadi 29 siswa (93,5%). Rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I ke siklus II meningkat yaitu dari 78,8 menjadi 91,6.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the results of mathematic’s study on 3^rd grade of 2 Wates Elementary School on the academic year of 2017/2018 by using fraction card media. This research used the design of Kemmis & McTaggart's action research model. The subject of this study was 35 students on 3^rd grade of 2 Wates Elementary School. The data collection instrument used observations and test sheets. The data analysis techniques that are used by the researcher are quantitative descriptive, and qualitative descriptive. The result shows that the used of fraction card media can improve the results of mathematic’s study on 3^RD grade of 2 Wates Elementary School. The result of observations in cycles I and II show the increased activity of students in learning using fraction card media from 68% to 83,3% and activity of teachers in learning using fraction card media from73,3% to 85%. Improvement of the results of mathematic’s study cycle I and cycle II of 20,8% that as many as 24 students (72,7%) to as many as 29 students (93,5% got KKM value. The average of learning outcomes from cycle I and cycle II also increased from 78,8 to 91,6.
