Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial melalui budaya sekolah di SD Negeri Wonosari 1 Gunungkidul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SD Negeri Wonosari 1 melaksanakan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial melalui budaya sekolah. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial melalui budaya sekolah dilakukan dalam: (1) kegiatan rutin yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus dan konsisten setiap saat, (2) kegiatan spontan yang dilakukan secara spontan pada saat itu juga, (3) keteladanan langsung melalui sikap dan perilaku warga sekolah yang mencerminkan peduli sosial, dan (4) pengondisian yang mendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli sosial melalui budaya sekolah.

Abstract

This research aims at describing the implementation of social care character education through school culture in SD Negeri Wonosari 1 Gunungkidul. This research used descriptive qualitative approach with case study design. Data were collected by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research used Miles and Huberman theory that were consist of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. Data validaty used sources triangulation and techniques triangulation. The results of this research show that SD Negeri Wonosari 1 Gunungkidul implement social care character education through school culture. Implementation of social care character education through school culture held in: (1) routine activities done by continousy and consistently every moment, (2) spontan activities, (3) role-modeling through attitudes and behaviors of school people who reflect social care, and (4) conditioning held that support the implementation of social care character education through school culture.
