PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR PKN SISWA KELAS V SD MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Game Tournament (TGT). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukomulyo yang terdiri dari delapan siswa laki-laki dan tiga belas siswa perempuan. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar PKn siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sukomulyo. Skor rata-rata keaktifan belajar PKn pra tindakan sebesar 48,15 meningkat menjadi 60,52 pada siklus I dan 75,66 pada siklus II. Sedangkan persentase keaktifan belajar PKn pra tindakan sebesar 28,57%, meningkat menjadi 71,43% pada siklus I dan 85,71% pada siklus II.

Abstract
This research aim at improving the engagement of 5th grade students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Sukomulyo in learning Civics by using Teams Game Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning. This research was a classroom action research using the model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The subject of this research were the 5th grade students at SD Negeri Sukomulyo consisted of eight male and thirteen female students. The techniques used in collecting the data of this research were observation and documentation. The data of the research were being analyzed through quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the research proved that Teams Game Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning could improve the engagement of 5th grade students at SD Negeri Sukomulyo in learning Civic. The average score of pre-action learning engagement increased from 48.15 to 60.52 in cycle I and 75.66 in cycle II. The percentage of pre-action learning engagement increased from 28.57 to 71.43% in cycle I, and 85.71% in cycle II.
