PENANAMAN SIKAP TOLERANSI DI KELAS V SD NEGERI SIYONO III KECAMATAN PLAYEN KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman sikap toleransi di kelas V SD N Siyono III Kecamatan Playen Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara purposive. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles and Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengujian keabsahan data dengan trianggulasi sumber, trianggulasi teknik, dan cross check.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan guru dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi yaitu melalui kebijakan sekolah, melalui kegiatan rutin, keteladanan, pengkondisian, kegiatan spontan, membantu siswa melihat persamaan, melatih siswa melihat perbedaan sejak dini, dan mengintegrasikan dalam mata pelajaran, (2) dalam implementasi
penanaman sikap toleransi ditemui kendala yaitu guru masih kesulitan dalam menanamkan sikap toleransi kepada siswa yang nakal.

Abstract
This research aimed to describe the cultivating of tolerance in 5th grade SD N Siyono III District of Playen Gunungkidul. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Determination of research subjects done purposively. Subjects were headmaster, teaches, and students in grade 5. Data collection techniques
used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed by using Miles and Huberman’s model of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Technique testing the validity of data with source triangulation, triangulation techniques, and cross check. The results showed that: (1) the efforts made by headmaster and teacher in cultivating of tolerance through the school policy, through regular activities, modeling, conditioning, spontaneous activities, help students see the similarities, train students to see the difference after glow, and integrate in subjects, (2) the cultivating of tolerance encountered obstacles that teacher still have difficulties in cultivating tolerance to students who misbehave.
