PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN PROSES DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROYEK PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD N 2 SRANDAKAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan proses IPA yang meliputi keterampilan mengamati, mencoba, menafsirkan, menyimpulkan, mengkomunikasikan, dan menerapkan serta hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 2 Srandakan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas model Kemmis & Mc Taggart. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV sebanyak 34 anak. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan: lembar observasi, soal tes, serta lembar angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar IPA pada materi perubahan lingkungan fisik. Adapun keterampilan proses IPA meningkat dari kategori kurang (58,75%) ke kategori baik (84,2%). Hasil belajar rata-rata IPA meningkat dari kategori cukup (72,08) ke kategori baik (84,09). Tuntas belajar klasikal meningkat dari kategori kurang sekali (32,3%) ke kategori sangat baik (90,6%). Karena indikator keberhasilan sudah terpenuhi maka penelitian tindakan kelas ini dihentikan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement of science process skills which include observation, eksperiment, interpretation, inference, communicate, and application and also the results of the grade science learning outcomes at SDN 2 Srandakan after follow project-based learning. This research is kind of classroom action research developed by Kemmis & Mc Taggart. The subject of the research is fourth grade students as many as 34 childrens. The research instrument used: observation sheets, test, and students questionnaire responses. The result of research indicated that project-based learning could improve the science process skills and science learning outcomes to material changes in the physical environment. The science process skills increased from less category (58.75%) to good category (84.2%). The average of science learning outcomes increase from adequate category (72.08) to good category (84.09). Mastery learning students classically increased from less than one category (32.3%) to very good category (90.6%). Because the indicator of succes has been reach, this class action researchcan be stopped.
