PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN EKSPERIMEN DENGAN REWARD AND PUNISHMENT SISWA KELAS VA SD NEGERI TEGALPANGGUNG YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuanmeningkatkan hasil belajar IPA menggunakan metode pembelajaran eksperimen dengan reward and punishment pada siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung, Yogyakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas model siklus Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Subyek penelitian adalah
siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung. Obyek penelitian adalah hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan penilaian tes pada tiap akhir siklus. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitaif.Hasil belajarIPA siswa kelas VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung Yogyakarta meningkat setelah diberikan tindakan berupa metode pembelajaran eksperimen dengan reward and punishment. Hasil belajar IPA siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diberikan tindakan siklus I 70,45 dan pada siklus II 82,72.
Kegiatan eksperimen meliputi kegiatan siswa berdiskusi, melaporkan hasil kegiatan eksperimen, dan membuat kesimpulan. Pemberian reward berupa pujian (verbal dan non verbal), pemberian hadiah, dan tanda penghargaan. Pemberian punishment berupa punishment preventif dan punishment represif.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to improve student achievement on sciencethrough experimental learning method using reward and punishment of grade VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung Yogyakarta. It was Kemmis and Mc Taggart classroom action research. The subjects were students of class VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung. The objects was student achievement on science. The data collecting technique was test. The data analysis technique was qualitative and quantitative description. The student achievement on science of grade VA SD Negeri Tegalpanggung was improved after given experimental learning method using reward and punishmeny. Student achievement on science learning was 70,45 in the first cycle and 82,72 in the second cycle. The steps of the action were student discussion, reporting experimental activities, and making conclusion. The rewards were com[ilments (verbal and non-verbal), price, and award. The punishment were preventive and repressive punishment.
