HUBUNGAN MINAT BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS V SD SE-GUGUS WONOKERTO TURI SLEMAN TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Abstrak

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar adalah minat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD se-Gugus Wonokerto, Turi, Sleman tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian ini adalah korelasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael. Penentuan ukuran sampel setiap sekolah menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dan teknik dokumentasi berupa nilai ujian tengah semester. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah korelasi Product Moment. Uji prasyarat analisis berupa uji
normalitas dan linieritas. Teknik analisis dan uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan program komputer SPSS 16. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD se-Gugus Wonokerto. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan
nilai r sebesar 0,565, dan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05. Setiap kenaikan minat belajar diikuti kenaikan prestasi belajar matematika dan sebaliknya.

Abstract

One of several factor which influenced learning achievement is interest. This research aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning with mathematics achievement of fifth grade students in Wonokerto cluster, Turi, Sleman academic year 2014/2015. This research is a correlation method. The sampling technique of the research is Isaac and Michael’s table. The determination of sample size from each school is proportional random sampling. The data collecting method uses a scale and documentation technique of midterms value. The analysis technique used is
Product Moment Correlation. Precondition analysis test in the form of normality and linearity test. The analysis technique and precondition analysis test uses computer program SPSS 16. The results of the research is shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between interest in learning and mathematics achievement of fifth grade students in Wonokerto cluster, Turi, Sleman. This case is evidenced by r value of 0.565, and 0.000 significance value <0.05. Any increase of interest in learning followed by an increase in mathematic achievement and instead.
