PENANAMAN NILAI DISIPLIN MELALUI POLCIL

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan penanaman nilai disiplin melalui kegiatan polisi cilik atau POLCIL di kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran dengan narasumber yang terdiri dari pengampu POLCIL, kepala sekolah, guru penanggung jawab, dan anak. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan data. Uji keabsahaan data menggunakan teknik  triangulasi  sumber  dan  triangulasi  teknik.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukan  bahwa  penanaman  nilai disiplin melalui kegiatan POLCIL di kelas 4 SD Muhammadiyah Bausasran melalui kegiatan rutin yang terdiri dari kegiatan baris-berbaris, berjabat tangan, berdoa, mengucapkan slogan, meminta ijin, dan memberikan  peraturan.  Kedua  melalui  kegiatan  keteladanan  seperti  cara  berpakaian  pengampu, cara berbicara pengampu, dan kedatangan pengampu. Ketiga melalui kegiatan spontan yang terdiri dari pemberian teguran, pemberian penghargaan dan memimpin berda. Terakhir melalui pengkondisian tempat latihan dan pakaian latihan. Kegiatan POLCIL didalam tahapan pendidikan karakter berada di tahapan kedua karena pengampu masih menumbuhkan rasa disiplin kepada anak melalui keempat kegiatan tersebut. Terdapat pula hambatan yang membuat penanaman nilai disiplin ini terhambat adalah faktor karakter anak dan pelaksanaan kegiatan POLCIL.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were describe the inculcate of discipline value through an activity of the junior police officers or was called POLCIL at fourth grade in elementary school of Muhammadiyah Bausasran. This research was a qualitative research. The subject were fourth grade in elementary school of Muhammadiyah Bausasran, the informant consists of POLCIL’s teacher , headmaster, teacher who responsible of POLCIL, and student at fourth grade. The data were collected through interview, observation and documentary. The data analyzed techniques used reduction data, data display, and conclusion. Validity used sources and triangulation techniques. The results of this research showed that the inculcation of discipline value regarding to POLCIL’s activity at fourth grade of Bausasran Muhammadiyah School was done through routine activities, e.g. marching regularly, shaking hands, praying, uttering slogan, requesting permission, and giving the rules. Second, modelling activities was done through several activities such as dressing, speaking, and arriving correctly and punctually in which those activities was modeled by the instructors. Third, spontaneous activities consisting of giving warning, reward, and guiding for praying. Lastly, students manage the practicing places and clothes. The POLCIL’s activity was considered the second stage of character education because the instructors still foster the students’ discipline through the four aforementioned activities. However, there were obstacles that made the dicipline value planted was hampered were childs character and implementation of POLCIL’s activity
