PENGARUH JIGSAW TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KERJASAMA DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PKN

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk:1) mengetahui pengaruh Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan kerjasama siswa kelas IV SD N Progowati, 2) mengetahui pengaruh Jigsaw terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Progowati, dan 3) mengetahui pengaruh Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan kerjasama dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Progowati pada mata pelajaran PKn. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen semu. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVA (kelas eksperimen) dan IVB (kelas kontrol) yang berjumlah 41 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, kuesioner dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan kerjasama dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan adanya perbedaan rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,75, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 69,76 dan nilai gain kedua kelas sebesar 0,101 dan tergolong dalam kriteria rendah. Selanjutnya, rata-rata kuesioner akhir kelas eksperimen sebesar 99,6, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 77,38 dan nilai gain kedua kelas sebesar 0,5 dan termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan analisis MANOVA, didapatkan nilai signifikansi 0,006 < 0,05 untuk variabel prestasi belajar dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 untuk variabel kemampuan kerjasama.

Abstract

This study aim at: 1) determining the effect of Jigsaw toward cooperation ability of 4th grade students on SD N Progowati, 2) determining the effect of Jigsaw on civic subject learning achievement of 4th grade students on SD N Progowati, and 3) determining the effect of Jigsaw on cooperation ability and civic subject learning achievement of 4th grade students on SD N Progowati. The kind of the research was Quasi experiment. Design of the research was Nonequivalent Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this research were 4th grade students class A as experimental class and 4th grade students class B as control class. The samples of this research were 41 students that taken used purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by test, questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed with Mann-Whitney test and T test. The result of this research showsthat the influence of Jigsaw implementation toward cooperation ability and civic subject learning achievement. It is proved by the difference mean of posttest in experimental class was 82,75, while the mean of posttest in control class was 69,76 and the gain score of both class was 0,101 are inclueded in criteriais low. The next, the mean score of the final questionnaire experimental class was 99.6, while control class was 77.38 and the gain score of both class was 0,5 are inclueded in categories medium. Based on the results of MANOVA analysis, obtained a significance value 0.006 < 0,05 for learning achievement variable and significance values 0.000 < 0,05 for the ability of cooperation variabel.
