PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONALITAS GURU TAMAN KANAK-KANAK BERSERTIFIKASI DI KECAMATAN NANGGULAN KULON PROGO
Abstract
Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) pandangan guru TK tentang pengembangan
profesionalitas pasca sertifikasi; (2) upaya-upaya apa saja yang dilakukan guru TK dalam mengembangkan
profesionalitas; (3) hambatan guru TK tentang pengembangan profesionalitas pasca sertifikasi; serta (4) upayaupaya
yang dilakukan guru TK untuk mengatasi hamabatan dalam melakukan pengembangan profesionalitas guru.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah
guru-guru TK bersertifikasi yang bewrjumlah 23 orang. Data-data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui wawancara,
observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan
model analisis interaktif. Peneliti merupakan instrumen utama dalam melakukan penelitian yang dibantu oleh
lembar wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan pedoman dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji melalui triangulasi
teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pandangan guru mengenai pengembangan profesionalitas guru
TK pasca sertifikasi yaitu upaya untuk meningkatkan wawasan dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki guru seiring
berkembangannya zaman; (2) upaya yang dilakukan guru TK untuk pengembangan profesionalitas yaitu seminar,
workshop, kegiatan kolektif guru seperti KKG, Gugus, IGTKI, PGRI; (3) hambatan yang ditemui dalam
pengembangan profesionalitas yaitu dari diri sendiri kurangnya waktu dan kurang kemampuan, dari lembaga
berupa kurangnya sarana dan prasarana pendukung; dan (4) upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan yaitu
mendisiplinkan waktu, membentuk team teaching, mengadakan koordinasi dengan komite.

Abstract
The objective of this study were: (1) to determine the paradigm of kindergarten teachers about
professional development of post-certification; (2) the kindergarten teacher effort’s to develop the professionalism;
(3) the kindergarten teachers obstacle’s about professional development of post-certification; (4)the kindergarten
teacher effort’s to solve the obstacles on professional development. This study used a qualitative approach with
descriptive research. The subjects were 23 certified kindergarten teachers. The research data were collected
through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyze in descriptive qualitative using
interactive analysis model. The researcher was the main instrument supported by the questionnaires, observation
guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The validity of data tested through triangulation techniques. The results
of the research indicates: (1) the teachers’ paradigm about the professional development of post-certification
kindergarten teacher was an effort to improve the knowledge of teachers over the times; (2) the efforts that were
done by kindergarten teacher to develop the professionalism consisted of : seminars, workshops, teacher collective
activities such as KKG, Gugus, IGTKI, PGRI; (3) the obstacles that were found on professional deveopment were
lack of time, lack of ability, also lack of supporting media; and (4)the efforts that were done to solve the obstacles
were improved and the discipline of time, established a team teaching, and organized a coordination with the
committee.
