PENGEMBANGAN INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN BERUPA PETA KONSEP FISIKA UNTUK MENGUKUR STRUKTUR KOGNITIF PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X SMA DEVELOPING OF PHYSICS CONCEPT MAPS AS ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT TO MEASURE TENTH GRADE OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS’ COGNITIVE STRUCTURE

Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kelayakan instrumen penilaian peta konsep fisika untuk mengukur struktur kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA, dan (2) mendeskripsikan struktur kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA pada materi elastisitas bahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan tiga tahap pelaksanaan yaitu: (1) tahap pendahuluan; (2) tahap pengembangan; (3) tahap evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) instrumen penilaian peta konsep yang dikembangkan layak digunakan berdasarkan kategori validitas isi oleh penilaian ahli dan respon peserta didik serta guru. Reliabilitas instrumen penilaian peta konsep sudah memenuhi kriteria reliabel dengan nilai ICC dan alpha termasuk kategori istimewa, (2) Instrumen penilaian peta konsep dapat mengukur struktur kognitif peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 4 SMA N 2 Ngaglik dengan deskripsi keadaan 86,9 % termasuk kategori A yang berarti sangat baik/tinggi, 9,8 % termasuk kategori B yang berarti baik dan 3,3 % termasuk kategori C yang berarti cukup.
Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian peta konsep, struktur kognitif, elastisitas bahan.
Abstract
This research is aimed to: (1) know the feasibility of physics concept maps as assessment instrument to measure tenth grade of senior high school students’ cognitive structure. (2) describe tenth grade of senior high school students’ cognitive structure on the elasticity of the material topic.The method of this research is Research and Development (R&D) with three stage, there are: (1) the preliminary stage; (2) the development stage; (3) the evaluation stage. The result of this research showed that: (1) concept maps assessment instrument is feasible to used by category are content validity of expert judgement. Reliability of concept maps assessment instrument already eligible reliable whose ICC value and the alpha value belongs to excellent category, (2) concept maps assessment instrument can measure the cognitive structure of tenth grade Science 1 and Science 4 students of SMA N 2 Ngaglik by 86.9% belongs to the A category, it’s means very good/high, 9.8% belongs to the B category, it’s means good and 3.3% belongs to the C category, it’s means enough.
