ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghasilkan suatu media pembelajaran fisika berbasis educational games berupa Rolling Box (Ro-Box) yang dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika untuk peserta didik kelas X SMA; 2) mengetahui peningkatan minat belajar fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA terkait dengan penggunaan Rolling Box (Ro-Box) sebagai media pembelajaran fisika, dan 3) mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas X SMA terkait dengan penggunaan Rolling Box (Ro-Box) sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini terdiri atas 14 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 4 dan 28 peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 di SMA N 1 Prambanan Klaten. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) media pembelajaran berbasis educational games berupa Rolling Box (Ro-Box) dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika berada dalam kategori sangat baik; 2) peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik dengan persentase ketercapaian sebesar 3,7 % termasuk dalam kategori baik, dan 3) peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan nilai standar gain sebesar 0,84 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.

ABSTRACT
This research is aimed to: 1) produce a physics learning media based on educational games in the form of Rolling Box (Ro-Box) that can be applied in physics learning for tenth grade student; 2) to find out the improvement of physics learning interest for tenth grade student related to use Rolling Box (Ro-Box) as a physics learning media, and 3) to find out the improvement of physics learning result of tenth grade student related to use Rolling Box (Ro-Box) as a physics learning media. This is a kind of research development using 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects of this research consist of 14 students of X MIPA 4 and 28 students of X MIPA 2 in SMA N 1 Prambanan Klaten. Result show that: 1) learning media based on educational games in the form of Rolling Box (Ro-Box) can be applied in physics learning included the very good category; 2) improvement of students learning interest with percentage of achievement 3.7% are included in good category, and 3) improvement of students learning result with standard gain 0.84 are included in high category.
