PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENTS (TGT) BERBANTUAN MEDIA PERMAINAN KARTU UNO TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK SMA INFLUENCE OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENTS (TGT) WITH UNO CARD GAME TO INCREASE THE MOTIVATION OF LEARNING AND RESULT LEARNING OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLSTUDENTS

Abstract


Abstrak

 

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournaments(TGT) dengan permainan kartu UNO terhadap motivasi belajar dan penguasaan materi peserta didik, (2)mengetahui kategori peningkatan motivasi belajar danpenguasaan materi peserta didik pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan permainan kartu UNO dan kuis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Ngemplak dengan menggunakan dua kelas. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan permainan kartu UNO, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan kuis undian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan test dan angket. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan permainan kartu UNO memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan materi peserta didik, tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik, serta terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar dalam kategori rendah dan peningkatan penguasaan materi sebesar 0.53 termasuk dalam kategori sedang.Hasil penelitian dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dengan kuis terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar kategori rendah dan peningkatan penguasaan materi sebesar 0.3 termasuk dalam kategori rendah.

Abstract

 

This research aims to: (1) knowthe influence of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) with UNO card game to increase the motivation of learning and the mastery of learning students, (2) know the category of increase the motivation of learning and the mastery of learning students in cooperative learning model type TGT with uno card game and quiz. This research is a quasi experimental research using the nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted in SMAN 1 Ngemplak use two group. The experimental group was treated by using the cooperative learning type TGT with UNO card game and the control group was treated by using the cooperative learning model type TGT without uno card game (quiz of lottery). The technique of date colleting were test and questionnaire. The research conducted analyzed using were Mann-Whitney test and t-test. The result of research showed that cooperative learning model type TGT with UNO card game give a significant influence on the mastery learning students, but without give a significant influence on the motivation of learning students, and there was increase of the motivation of learning in the category of low and the mastery learning that valuable 0.53 included in the category of medium. The result of research in  cooperative learning type TGT with quiz showed that there were increase of the motivation of learning in the category of low and the mastery learning that valuable 0.3 included in the category of low.
