Abstract

This research aims to: (1) produce a Newton's law learning instrument based on Problem Based Learning that feasible to increase student’s problem solving ability and attitude of cooperation, (2) know the effectiveness of the Newton's laws learning instrument based on Problem Based Learning in terms of an increase in problem solving ability and an attitude of cooperation and (3) know the response of students to the Newton's Laws learning instrument based on Problem Based Learningin terms of facility and simplicity. This research is research and development with 4-D models (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The subjects were students of class X IPS 1 and IPS 2 SMA N 2 Banguntapan. The results of this research are: (1) The Newton's law learning instrument based on Problem Based Learning that consisting of RPP, LKPD and learning modules was feasible to increase student’s problem solving ability and attitude of cooperation with  consecutive scores of 3,72, 3,80, and 3,86 in very good category (2) the Newton's law learning instrument based on Problem Based Learning is effectively used in terms of an increase in the problem solving ability and attitude of cooperative with consecutive standart gain value of  0,78 and 0,88, in high category and (3) the Newton's law learning instrument based learning Problem Based Learning get a very good response from the students in terms of aspects facility and simplicity with consecutive scores of 3,47 and 3,60.
