THE EFFECTIVENESS OF HIGH SCHOOL INTEGRATED PHYSICS LEARNING ON EARTHQUAKE DISASTER EDUCATION IN TERMS OF MATERIAL MASTERY AND DISASTER PREPAREDNESS
Abstract
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan penguasaan materi dan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam aspek pengetahuan, perencanaan, peringatan, dan mobilisasi sumber daya antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan gempa bumi dan pembelajaran fisika konvensional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Kretek. Teknik sampling adalah sampling jenuh, karena semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Materi fisika yang diajarkan yaitu Gelombang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu soal tes, angket kesiapsiagaan bencana alam, lembar observasi kesiapsiagaan bencana alam, serta lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP. Data dianalisis berdasarkan standard gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan penguasaan materi dan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam aspek pengetahuan dan mobilisasi sumber daya antara peserta didik yang mengikuti pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan gempa bumi dan pembelajaran fisika konvensional (2) pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan gempa bumi lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran fisika konvensioanal ditinjau dari penguasaan materi dan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam aspek pengetahuan dan mobilisasi sumber daya peserta didik. Kata-kata Kunci: integrasi pendidikan kebencanaan gempa bumi, penguasaan materi, kesiapsiagaan bencana alam Abstract The research aimed to find out the differences at the material mastery and disaster preparedness aspects of knowledge, planning, warning, and resource mobilization between students who follow integrated physics learning on disaster earthquarke education and conventional physics learning. This research used the quasi-experimental method. The population was all of XII IPA of SMA Negeri 1 Kretek. The sampling technique is a saturated sampling because all members of the population are used as samples. Physics material that is learn is wave. The instruments of data collection are test question, questionnaire of disaster preparedness, observation sheet simulation of disaster preparedness, and observation sheet of implementation of RPP. Data were analyzed based on standard gain. The results of the research showed that (1) there is differences at the material mastery and disaster preparedness aspects of knowledge and resource mobilization between students who follow integrated physics learning on disaster earthquarke education and conventional physics learning, and (2) the integrated physics learning on earthquarke disaster education was more effective than conventional physics learning by the consideration of material mastery and disaster preparedness aspects of knowledge and resource mobilization from the students .
