THE EFFECTS OF COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL: TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) ON IMPROVING 1 KASIHAN STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLSTUDENTS’S MOTIVATION AND LEARNING OUTCOMES OF PHYSICS LEARNING
Abstract
Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik, dan (2) mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar aspek kognitif peserta didik.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Kasihan Bantul tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari enam kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling dan diperoleh kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu soal tes, lembar observasi motivasi belajar peserta didik, lembar observasi motivasi belajar peserta didik, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP.Analisis data menggunakan uji GLM-Manova.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik, dan (2) terdapat perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar aspek kognitif peserta didik.Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI lebih berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar aspek kognitif peserta didik daripada model pembelajaran ceramah bervariasi. Kata kunci :Model Team Assisted Individualization, motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar Abstract The aim of this research is to: (1) know the differences of the effects cooperative learning model: Team Assisted Individualizationon improving learning motivation, (2) know the differences of the effects cooperative learning model: Team Assisted Individualizationon improving learning outcomes of physics. This research is an experimental research named Randomized Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is the students on X grade of MIPA inSenior High School 1 Kasihan 2017/2018 consisting of six classes. The method of sampling technique iscluster random sampling, students in X MIPA 1 as an experiment class and students in X MIPA 2 as a control class. The research instruments consisted of examination tests, observation sheets of student’s motivation for studying, and observation sheets of lesson plan’s implementation. The GLM-Manova test used as a data analysis. The results revealed that: (1) there are no differences of the effects cooperative learning model: Team Assisted Individualizationon improving learning motivation, (2) there are some differences of the effects cooperative learning model: Team Assisted Individualizationon improving learning outcomes of physics learning.
