EFFECTIVENESS OF HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS LEARNING MEDIA INTEGRATED BY TSUNAMI DISASTER EDUCATION IN TERMS OF ENHANCEMENT OF MASTERY LEARNING AND NATURAL DISASTER PREPAREDNESS

Abstract


Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan tsunami ditinjau dari peningkatan penguasaan materi, (2) mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan tsunami ditinjau dari peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam, (3) mengetahui adanya perbedaan penguasaan materi, dan (4) mengetahui adanya perbedaan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen jenis control group pre-test-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Bambanglipuro tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Materi fisika yang diajarkan yaitu Usaha dan Energi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yaitu angket kesiapsiagaan bencana alam, soal tes, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan RPP, dan lembar validasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji GLM-MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) media pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan tsunami lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran fisika konvensional ditinjau dari peningkatan penguasaan materi, (2) media pembelajaran fisika terintegrasi pendidikan kebencanaan tsunami lebih efektif daripada pembelajaran fisika konvensional ditinjau dari peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam, (3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan penguasaan materi, dan (4) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kesiapsiagaan bencana alam. Kata kunci: Media Pembelajaran Fisika Terintegrasi Pendidikan Kebencanaan Tsunami, hasil belajar, kesiapsiagaan bencana tsunami, usaha dan energi. Abstract The purpose of this research is (1) to know the effectiveness of physics learning media integrated by tsunami disaster education in terms of enhancement of mastery of learning, (2) to know the effectiveness of physics learning media integrated by tsunami disaster education in terms of enhancement of natural disaster preparedness, (3) to find out the differences in mastery of learning, (4) to find out the differences in natural disaster preparedness. This research is an experimental research with the control group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research are first grade students of SMA N 1 Bambanglipuro in academic year 2017/2018. The matter physics that taught is work and energy. The instrument of data collection are test question, questionnaire of disaster preparedness, observation sheet of RPP implementation, and validation sheet. Data analysis using GLM-MANOVA test. The result of the research shows that: (1) physics learning media integrated by tsunami disaster education is more effective than conventional physics learning viewed from enhancement of mastery of learning and natural disaster preparedness, and (2) there were differences of mastery of learning and natural disaster preparedness between students which follows the physics learning using physics learning media integrated by tsunami disaster education and the conventional learning model.
