PENGEMBANGAN E-MODULE IPA BERBASIS SERVICE LEARNING DENGAN TEMA “GLOBAL WARMING” UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK SMP THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE E-MODULE USING SERVICE LEARNING WITH THE TOPIC “GLOBAL WARMING” TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING SKILL OF JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract


       Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menghasilkan e-module IPA berbasis service learning yang layak menurut penilaian validator, 2) mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap e-module IPA yang dikembangkan, 3) mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah menggunakan e-module IPA yang dikembangkan. Desain penelitian ini merupakan R&D dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi e-module, lembar angket respon peserta didik terhadap e-module, lembar observasi keterampilan berpikir kritis, soal pretest dan posttest, serta lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran service learning. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) dihasilkannya e-module IPA berbasis service learning yang dinyatakan layak oleh validator dengan kategori sangat baik (A), 2) e-module IPA yang dikembangkan mendapat respon dari peserta didik dengan kategori sangat baik (A), 3) e-module IPA yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan perolehan gain score dengan nilai 0,65 termasuk kategori sedang.

       The aims of this research were 1) to produce of science e-module using service learning that reasonable, 2) to know the students’ response of science e-module that developed, 3) to know the improve critical thinking skills after using a science e-module that developed. This research was categorized as R & D research with 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instruments of this research were validation forms of science emodule, students’ questionnaire responses to science e-module, critical thinking observation forms, and pretest and posttest tasks. Data analysis techniques used in this research were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this research were 1) produced of science e-module using service learning that reasonable with categories very well (A) by validators, 2) science e-module developed get categories very well (A) by students response, 3) science e-module developed could to improve critical thinking skills with the gain score which was 0,65 and categorized as a medium result.
