THE MAIN CHARACTERS PERSONALITY IN MOMO BY MICHAEL ENDE: A PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF LITERATURE
Abstract
This study is aimed to describe the main charackters personality in Momo by Michael Ende. This study used qualitative descriptive tehnic. Data Source was Momo by Michael Ende und published by verlag GmbH Thienamann in 1973. Data is gotten by semantics validity and expert judgment. Reliability used intrarater and interrater. The result of study was the personality main charackter Momo was practical, wise, merry, easy to understand, not calm, conscientious, good memories, helpful, never give up, and the problem was heavy and the type of personality was phlegmatic, apathic, sanguine, and amorphous. Phlegmatic had weak emotionality, strong secondary process, and active activity. Apathic had weak emotionality, strong secondary process and inactive activity. Sanguine had weak emotionality, weak secondary process, and active activity. Amorphous had weak emotionality, weak second process, and inactive activity.
