THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CARTOON’SCOLOR ONTHE LEARNING GERMAN READING SKILL AT SMA NEGERI 1 MINGGIR SLEMAN

Abstract


The research aimed to know (1) the differences of learning German achievement of the student grade XI SMA N 1 MinggirSleman who taught using cartoon’s color and conventional media, (2) the effectiveness cartoon’s colormedia on learning German reading skill at SMA N 1 MinggirSleman. The research was quasi-experiment.The population of this research were 142 students. The simple random sampling was used in the study. There were 69 students who became the sample. The data collection technique was test. Hence, uji-t was used to analyze the data. The result of the study showed that (1) there was significance differences of learning achievement of German language of the student grade XI SMA N 1 MinggirSleman effective on learning reading skill than those who taught using cartoon’s color and conventional media, with 6.96% of effectiveness quality.
