THE EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF GRADE XI STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 OF BANGUNTAPAN BANTUL THROUGH THE MERRY GO ROUND TECHNIQUE

Abstract


The objectives of this thesis are (1) to increase the activity of the students in German lessons and (2) to describe their writing skills in German of the students in the class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul by the Merry Go Roundtechnique. The investigation is Classroom Action Research. The strategy is chosen collaboratively between the investigator, the German teacher and the students. The study group is from the students of the class XI IPA 3 of SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan Bantul. The result of the study shows that there is an increase in the activity of the students. Also, the grade point average in the writing skills increases by 16.37%.
