THE EFFORTS OF IMPROVING THE GERMAN SPEAKING SKILLS FOR LANGUAGE FOR GRADE XI OF SMA NEGERI 3 TEMANGGUNG THROGH USE OF PICTURES
Abstract
This research aims improve speaking skill in German and learners‘ activity for the 11th Language Grade students of SMA N 3 Temanggung using Pictures. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles of research. Each cycle consist of four phases : planning, action, observation and feedback. In this research, the strategy was determined collaboratively between the researcher with teacher and students. The subject aretwentyone students in the 11th Language Grade students of SMA N 3 Temanggung. The data of thisstudywere obtained through interviews, observation, questionnaire, fields note, speaking skilltest in German und documentation. The data was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this research indicates that pictures can improve speaking skill in German for the 11th Language Grade students of SMA N 3 Temanggung. The improvement of the average grades of the student’s German speaking skill reaches 35,85%. In addition to the success of the product, there is also the success of activity the students.
