THE EFFORTS TO IMPROVE THE GERMAN READING SKILL OF THE GRADE XI STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 JETISBANTUL THROUGH THE TECHNIQUE ”EVERYONE IS A TEACHER HERE”
Abstract
The objectives of this thesis are (1) to increase the activity of the students in German lessons and (2) to describe their writing skills in German of the students in the class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Jetis Bantul by the Everyone is a teacher heretechnique. The investigation is Classroom Action Research. The strategy is chosen collaboratively between the investigator, the German teacher and the students. This classroom action research consisted of 2 cycles. Each of the cycles consisted of 4 steps, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection.The indicators of success in this research were (1) the success of the process and (2) the success of the product.The result of the study shows that there is an increase in the activity of the students. Also, the grade point average in the reading skills increases by 23,40%.
