THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE QUANTUM LEARNING METHOD OF THE CLUSTERING TECHNIQUE IN THE LEARNING OF THE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF GRADE X OF SMA NEGERI 6 SURAKARTA
Abstract
This study aimed to determine: (1) differences achievement in the learning of writing in German among the students of class X SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta between the taught using Quantum Learning method Clustering technique and taught using conventional teaching method, (2) the effectiveness of Quantum Learning method Clustering technique in the learning of writing in German among the students of grade X SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This research is a quasi experimental. This research was conducted at X SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta, the entire population in grade X Sains students totaling 110 learners. The sampling technique using simple random sampling. Obtained from sampling X MIA 2 as an experimental class (31 learners) and grade X MIA 4 as the control class (31 learners). The data obtained in the study of German writing skills scores of students. The validity of the instrument using content validity and construct validity. Reliability is calculated with the formula Alpha Cronbach and the results is 0,808. Analysis of the data in this study using T-test. The results of the data analysis shows that (1) the T-test value (2,047) is higher than the T-table value (2.000) at the significance level of a = 0.05. This means that there is a difference in learning achievement German writing skills between the experimental class and the control class. (2) The weight of the effectiveness is 9,8%, so it can be concluded that Quantum Learning method Clustering techniques effective in the learning of writing in German.
