THE EFFORT IN IMPROVING THE GERMAN WRITING SKILL OF ELEVEN GRADE OF THE STUDENTS OF LANGUAGE PROGRAM OF SMA N 2 WONOSARI THROUGH THE MIND MAPPING TECHNIQUE
Abstract
The study aims to improve (1) writing skill and (2) learner’s activity in German for eleven grade of the students of language program of SMA N 2 Wonosari through the mind map technique. The type of study is the Clasroom Action Research (CAR). This study consist of two cycle and each cycle consist of four phases: planning, action, observation and feedback. This study was conducted between researcher, German teacher, and students of eleven grade of the language program of SMA N 2 Wonosari, as many as 26 students. The subject are 26 students of eleven grade of language program of SMA N 2 Wonosari. This data in this study were obtained through observation, field notes, interviews, questionnaires, German writing skill test and documentation. The data was analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The result of this study indicate that (1) there is an increase in writing achievement of eleven grade of students of language program of SMA N 2 Wonosari through mind mapping technique reaches 84,61 %, (2) there is an increase in learner’s activity of eleven grade of student of language program of SMA N 2 Wonosari through mind mapping technique reaches 23,36 %
