PERBEDAAN RECOVERY 1 MENIT DAN 2 MENIT LAIHAN UTILITY TERHADAP POWER TUNGKAI ATLET TAEKWONDO UKM UNY THE DIFFERENCE OF ONE AND TWO MINUTES RECOVERY OF THE UTILITY EXERCISE ON LEG POWER OF TAEKWONDO ATHLETES AT UKM UNY

Abstract


Abstrak Tujuan Penlitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar perbedaan pemberian recovery latihan utility menggunakan resistance band terhadap peningkatan power tungkai atlet taekwondo Desain penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah “two group pretestposttest design”. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 atlet taekwondo UKM UNY yang akan mengikuti INSTIPER CUP. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengukur peningkatan power tungkai atlet taekwondo adalah standing vertical jump. Analisis data menggunakan uji t taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan utility dengan recovery 1 menit dan recovery 2 menit. Hasil analisisi uji t pada kelompok latihan dengan recovery 1 menit telah diperoleh nilai t hitung (16,000) > t tabel (2,92). Sedangkan Hasil uji t pada kelompok recovery 2 menit diperoleh nilai t hitung (7,000) > t tabel (2,92). Hasil persentase peningkatan diperoleh latihan dengan recovery 1 menit diperoleh sebesar sebesar 14,02 %. Sedangkan persentase peningkatan recovery 2 menit diperoleh sebesar 9,77 %. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan utility dengan waktu recovery 1 menit lebih baik hasilnya dibandingkan dengan waktu recovery  2 menit.. Abstract The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of utility exercise recovery by using resistance bands towards the increase on leg power of taekwondo athletes. The “two group pretest and posttest design" was used as research design. This research selected 6 taekwondo athletes of UKM UNY who would take part in the CUP INSTIPER. The instrument used was standing vertical jump to measure the increase of leg power in taekwondo athletes. Ttest of significance level of 5% was used to analyze the data.  The results show that there is a significant effect of utility exercise with one minute and two minutes recovery. The t value of t-test analysis in exercise group of one minute recovery is (16,000)> t table is (2,92). While t value of t-test analysis in two minutes recovery group is (7,000)> t table is (2,92). The increase percentage result of one minute recovery exercise is 14.02%. While the increase percentage of two minutes recovery is 9.77%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the utility exercise with one minute recovery is better than two minute recovery.  Keywords: difference, one minute recovery, two minutes recovery, legs power of taekwondo athlete's
