Abstract


ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakngi oleh keadaan sekolah yang belum dilakukan penghijauan secara menyeluruh.
Kondisi WC/jamban yang terlihat kotor sangat mempengaruhi kesehatan siswa di lingkungan sekolah tersebut.
Lingkungan sekolah yang baik harus sesuai dengan strata pembinaan lingkungan. Strata pembinaan lingkungan terdiri
dari strata minimal, strata standar, strata optimal dan strata paripurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strata
pembinaan lingkungan sekolah tingkat sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Galur Kabupaten Kulon Progo.Penelitian ini
merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Instrumen penelitian
menggunakan lembar observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Galur Kabupaten
Kulon Progo yang berjumlah 27. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, yang dituangkan dalam bentuk
persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketercukupan strata pembinaan lingkungan sekolah tingkat sekolah
dasar di Kecamatan Galur Kabupaten Kulon Progo terdapat 0 sekolah (0,00%) dalam kategori minimal, 2 sekolah
(7,40%) dalam kategori standar, 11 sekolah (40,74%) dalam kategori optimal, 14 sekolah (51,85%) dalam kategori
paripurna. Frekuensi terbanyak pada kategori paripurna, sehingga dapat disimpulkan identifikasi strata pembinaan
lingkungan sekolah tingkat sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Galur Kabupaten Kulon Progo adalah paripurna.

ABSTRACT
This research is motivated bythe condition of schools that has not been asgreen society as a whole. The
conditions of toilet / latrine that look dirty greatly affect the health of students in the school environment. The good
school environment must be in accordance with the degree of environmentdevelopment. The degree of environmental
development consists of minimum degree, standard degree, optimal degree, and complete degree. This research aims
to determine the degree of environment development of elementary school schools in Galur District, Kulon Progo
Regency. This research was descriptive quantitative. The method used was by survey method. The research instrument
used was observation sheet. The population in this study was elementary schoolsGalur District KulonProgo Regency
consisting of 27 schools. The data were analysedby using descriptive analysis, represented in percentage form.
The results show that the degree adequacy of the environment development in elementary schools in Galur District,
KulonProgo Regency are that; 0 school (0.00%) is in the category,2 schools (7.40%) are in the standard category, 11
schools (40.74% ) are in the optimal category, 14 schools (51.85%) are in the complete category. The most frequent
category lies on the complete category, so it can be concluded that the identification of elementary school
environment degree in Galur District Kulon Progo Regency is complete.
