Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui profil VO2 Max, IMT dan persentase lemak tubuh sebelum member
menentukan program latihan fat loss dan body shaping di fitness center GOR UNY. Profil dapat dijadikan bahan evaluasi
oleh member dan instruktur terhadap berjalannya program latihan.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
adalah seluruh member wanita yang melakukan latihan selama dua bulan di Fitness Center GOR UNY. Teknik
pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak sebanyak 19 orang. Pengambilan
data dilakukan dengan tes dan pengukuran yaitu cooper 12 menit untuk VO2 Max, pengukuran berat badan dibagi tinggi
badan kuadrat untuk IMT, dan skin fold caliper untuk pengukuran persentase lemak tubuh. Analisis data penelitian
menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan persentase.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa member yang belum menentukan program latihan memiliki profil VO2
Max kategori kurang sekali 89.74%, indeks massa tubuh (IMT) kategori normal 57.89% dan profil persentase lemak
tubuh kategori lebih 60.00%.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to understand the VO2 Max profile, BMI and body fat percentage before member
determines the fat loss and body shaping training program in GOR UNY fitness center. This profile can be the member
and instructor an evaluation towards the success of training program.
This study is a quantitative descriptive study by using survey method. The population of this study is all female
fitness who did the training for two months in Fitness Center GOR UNY. Sampling technique using purposive sampling
with the number of samples as many as 19 people. There are 19 members that are included in this study as the study
subjects, which were selected by using purposive sampling method. Data collection was completed by performing test and
measurements is a 12 minutes cooper for VO2 Max, calculating body weight in height in units of squared meters for IMT,
and skin fold caliper to measure body fat percentage. The data was analyzed by using quantitative descriptive analysis
with percentage.
The results of this study show that members who has not determined the training program had 89.74% very low
VO2 Max profile, 57.89% normal BMI and 60.00% over body fat percentage.
