FROM REFLECTION TO REACTION: MORAL MIRRORING DAN KONTESTASI NILAI MELALUI RESPONS NETIZEN DALAM ISU #INDONESIAGELAP

Abstract


Artikel ini membahas praktik moral mirroring dan kontestasi nilai dalam respons netizen terhadap isu #IndonesiaGelap sebagai cerminan krisis legitimasi moral di ruang digital. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya memahami dinamika produksi nilai dalam era melemahnya kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi formal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi virtual untuk mengeksplorasi interaksi netizen di platform X (Twitter). Sumber data primer dikumpulkan melalui Brand24 berupa komentar, tagar, dan reaksi publik, sementara data sekunder berasal dari berita daring, jurnal ilmiah, dan laporan akademik. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis konten, dikombinasikan dengan triangulasi sumber untuk memastikan validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolom komentar berfungsi sebagai arena moral baru, tempat netizen merefleksikan nilai keadilan, transparansi, supremasi sipil, dan resistensi terhadap otoritarianisme melalui praktik slacktivism yang bersifat kolektif. Pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa moral mirroring memperkuat narasi tandingan terhadap dominasi negara dan membentuk fragmentasi etika publik. Kesimpulannya, ruang digital telah menjadi medan produksi nilai dan ekspresi resistensi moral yang berdaya politik. Implikasinya, aktor negara dan akademisi perlu menjadikan respons digital sebagai indikator transformasi kesadaran kolektif, serta mendorong model komunikasi politik yang lebih partisipatif, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap dinamika moralitas publik di era demokrasi digital.
