Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gerak teknik penggunaan alat latihan beban
member Fitness GOR FIK UNY. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif
menggunakan metode survei dengan teknik pengambilan data menggunakan pedoman istrumen
penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh member di Fitness GOR FIK UNY,
pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan syarat-syarat: (1) member di
Fitness GOR FIK UNY, (2) telah menjadi member selama minimal dua bulan, (3) masih aktif latihan
selama satu bulan. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik analisis
data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerak teknik
menggunakan alat latihan beban yang dilakukan member Fitness GOR FIK UNY sebagai berikut: (1)
berdasarkan kategori keseluruhan penggunaan alat beban dengan gerak teknik yang benar oleh
member dikategorikan sangat baik, (2) berdasarkan kategori rentang usia, usia 21-30 tahun
memperoleh hasil lebih baik dibandingkan rentang usia 11-20 tahun, (3) berdasarkan kategori jenis
kelamin, laki-laki memperoleh hasil lebih baik dibandingkan jenis kelamin perempuan, (4)
berdasarkan kategori status, mahasiswa memperoleh hasil terbaik dibandingkan pekerja dan pelajar,
dan (5) berdasarkan kategori jenis program, program personal trainner memperoleh hasil lebih baik
dibandingkan program nonpersonal trainner.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the knowing the motion technique using weight training tools at
the GOR FIK UNY fitness center. The research is a qualitative describtive research study using a
survey method with data collection technique using instrument of research guidelines The population
in this study are all of the members at GOR FIK UNY fitness center, sampling using purposive
sampling techniques with the following requirements: (1) member at GOR FIK UNY fitness center, (2)
has been a member for at least two months, (3) is still active exercise for a month. The sample used in
this study amounted to 21 people. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. Research
results show that motion technique using training tools expenses of the members at GOR FIK UNY
fitness centre showed that: (1) by category overall use weights with the motion of the correct
technique by members categorized as very good, (2) by category of the age range, the age of 21 -30
years to obtain better results than the age range 11-20 years, (3) by category of gender, the man was
better than the women, (4) by category status, high students get the best results compared to workers
and students, (5) by category of the type of program, personal trainner programs better than
nonpersonal trainner program.
