PENGARUH EFIKASI DIRI, KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN PERHATIAN ORANGTUA TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Deskripsi efikasi diri, kecerdasan emosional, perhatian orangtua dan kesiaan kerja siswa, (2) Pengaruh efikasi diri, kecerdasan emosional dan perhatian orangtua secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian Elektronika Industri SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Kulon Progo tahun ajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 86 siswa. hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) deskripsi efikasi diri sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (66,28%), deskripsi kecerdasan emosional sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (65,12%), deskripsi perhatian orangtua sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (63,95%), deskripsi kesiapan kerja sebagian siswa termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (51,16%),  (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan kecerdasan emosional secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa sebesar (27,4%), (52,0%) dan (53,0%), (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan kecerdasan emosional secara parsial dan simultan ditinjau dari perhatian orangtua terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa sebesar (41,8%), (52,9%) dan (60,8%).

Abstract

This research aims to find out (1) the description of self efficacy, emotional intelligence, parental attention and work readiness of students, (2) influence of self efficacy, emotional intelligence and parental attention partially and simultaneously to the work readiness of students. This research included ex-post facto research with quantitative approach. The population of this research is the students class XI of vocational high school industry electronics skills program in Kulon Progo District for the academic year 2016/2017 as many as 86 students. The results of the research are: (1) description self efficacy  of students gained 66.28% which was categorized Very High, description emotional intelligence of students gained 65.12%, which was categorized Very High , description parental attention of students gained 37.21% which was categorized Very High, description of work readiness of students gained 66.28% which was categorized Very High, (2) there is a positive and significant influence between self efficacy and emotional intelligence in a partial and simultaneous on student work readiness nearly (27,4%), (52,0%) and (53,0%), (3) there is positive and significant influence between self efficacy and emotional intelligence partially and simultaneously viewed from the parental attention to student work readiness nearly (41,8%), (52,9%) and (60,8%).
