EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA INTERAKTIF UNTUK PENGENALAN PIRANTI ELEKTRONIKA DAYA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) gambaran pencapaian kompetensi aspek kognitif siswa; (2) pencapaian kompetensi akhir ranah kognitif; (3) efektivitas pembelajaran discovery based learning berbantuan media interaktif berupa aplikasi dengan pemrograman Borland Delphi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kognitif materi pengenalan piranti elektronika daya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI program keahlian Teknik Audio Video SMK Negeri 1 Pundong. Instrumen berupa tes pilihan ganda digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan non-parametrik dengan uji Mann-Whitney dan Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) peningkatan kompetensi aspek kognitif kelas ekspremen lebih baik dibanding kelas kontrol; (2) kompetensi akhir aspek kognitif kelas ekspremen lebih baik dibanding kelas kontrol dengan perbedaan yang signifikan nilai Sighitung 0,00; (3) pembelajaran discovery based learning berbantuan media interaktif berupa aplikasi dengan pemrograman Borland Delphi efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kognitif siswa pada materi pengenalan piranti elektronika daya dengan rerata nilai gain sebesar 0,67.

Abstract
The aims of this study were to determine: (1) overview of competency achievement on cognitive domain (2) achievement of final competence on the cognitive domain; (3) effectiveness of discovery based learning assisted interactive media with Borland Delphi programming for increasing the competence on the cognitive domain of introduction of power electronics devices. This study was a quasi experimental research with Non-Equivalent Control Groups Design. The subjects were XI grade students of Audio and Video Program in Vocational Secondary School 1 Pundong. Multiple choice question test was used as instrument for collecting data. Data were analysis in descriptive and non-parametric with Mann-whitney and Wilcoxon technique. Results of study are: (1) the increase of competence on the cognitive domain of experiment class is better than control class; (2) the final competence on the cognitive domain of experiment class is better than control class with significant difference and Sigcount 0.00; (3) the discovery based learning assisted interactive media with Borland Delphi programming is effective to increase cognitive competence of students on introducing power electronics devices with average of gain score 0.67.
