IMPLEMENTATION OF VALUE INVESTMENT OF BELA NEGARA IN THE LEARNING OF PPKN IN SMA TARUNA NUSANTARA MAGELANG

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of value investment of bela negara in learning PPKn and the role of PPKn in the value of investment of bela negara in SMA Taruna Nusantara Magelang. This research is an overview of the appropriate way to embed the values of bela negara, so that the learners have an attitude of bela negara as the right and duty of a citizen.

This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects were selected using purposive technique, the subjects in this study were the teachers of PPKn and head of the bela negara training activities of Taruna Nusantara. The data             were   collecting         by         interviews,           observation,            and   also                documentation. Examination of the validity of the the data were using triangulation techniques. Data analysis technique used were data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.

The results of this research are: (1) Implementation of value investment of bela negara in learning PPKn, implemented through learning in the classroom using the intervention process and habituation. The implementation of value investment of bela negara is not only done through learning PPKn, but also supported by some activities of bela negara, such as: Basic of Bela Negara (Basic BN), Defence and Security Systems of Countries (Sishanneg), Geopolitics (GEO POL) Regulation Marches (UN), the Regulation Respecting (PP), Political Ethics, Law and Human Rights, Development of Environment Care, Rite School (TUS), Education of Anti- Corruption,   Individual   Agility, Field   Awareness,   Persami,   RPS,   PKT,   and Pembaretan, and Commanders Training, there is also support from the boarding school   of   Taruna   Nusantara   in   embedding   the   values   of   bela   negara;   (2) Contributions of PPKn in embedding the values of bela negara is a major gateway to embed  the  values  of  bela  negara.  Without  a  good  learning  through  PPKn,  the students  will  not  have an  attitude  of  bela negara.  PPKn  is the main  subjects  in teaching bela negara to students.
