PENGEMBANGAN KOMIK MATERI KESELAMATAN KERJA DAN ALAT PELINDUNG KERJA PADA MATA PELAJARAN SANITASI HYGIENE DAN K3 SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR SISWA SMK PROGRAM STUDI JASA BOGA KELAS X

Tujuan penelitian: 1) Mengembangkan Komik K3 bagi siswa SMK kelas X Jasa Boga. 2) Mengetahui
kelayakan Komik K3 sebagai sumber belajar siswa Jasa Boga kelas X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan R&D,
model 4D (Define, Design, Developed, Disseminate). Subyek dalam penelitian siswa kelas X Jasa Boga SMK
Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. Obyek penelitian adalah Komik Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). Validasi
komik oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Uji kelayakan oleh 48 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi,
wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1)
Pengembangan Komik K3 menggunakan program adobe photoshop CS5, ukuran buku komik B6, cover dan isi
komik berwarna, berjumlah 54 halaman. 2) Penilaian dari ahli materi sebesar 80,85%, ahli media sebesar 91,25%,
dan penilaian siswa sebesar 85,94%. Dari data dapat disimpulkan Komik Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3)
sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar siswa SMK pada program studi Jasa Boga kelas X.

Abstract
This study aimed to: 1) develop a comic for OSH for Grade X students of the Culinary Services Study
Program of SMK, and 2) investigate the appropriateness of the developed comic. This was an R&D study using the
4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) model. The research subjects were Grade X students of Culinary
Services of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan. The research object was a comic for OSH. The comic was validated
by a media expert and a materials expert. The test of the appropriateness of the comic for OSH was carried out by
involving 48 students. The data were collected through observations, interviews, and a questionnaire. The data
analysis technique was the descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study were as follows. 1) The comic for
OSH was developed by using the Adobe Photoshop CS5 program, the size was B6, the cover and contents were
colorful, and it consisted of 54 pages. 2) The assessment by the materials expert showed an appropriateness score
of 80.85%, that by the media expert score of 91.25%, and that by the students score of 85.94%. Based on the data,
it can be concluded that the comic for OSH as media is very appropriate to be used as a learning resource for
Grade X of students of the Culinary Services Study Program of the vocational high school (VHS).
