THE IMPLEMENTATION OF E-LEARNING ON THE SUBJECT OF PENDIDIKAN PANCASILA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN OF XI CLASS IN SMA NEGERI 1 YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to: 1) describe the implementation of e-learning in Subjects Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan of XI class in SMAN 1 Yogyakarta and 2) uncover the challenges in implementing e-learning in the subject of Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan of XI class in SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.
This research is a descriptive qualitative. The determination of research subjects is using purposive technique consisting of Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan educators of class XI, vice principal of SMA Negeri 1 Yogyakarta, ICT educators, the lecturer of Faculty of Engineering UNY as a manager of e-learning systems and learners. The data collecting technique in this study are using observation, interviews, and documentation. Examination of data validity is using triangulation technique while data analysis is using data reduction, unitization and categorization of data, data display, and conclusion drawing (conclusion).
The results show: 1) Implementation of e-learning on the subjects of Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan of XI class through three stages, namely (a) planning of e-learning which contains the e-learning design tool such as wordpress, (b) the implementation of e-learning is used in the learning process to overcome the limitations of time, space and circumstance for educators and students, e-learning is used as a learning model of blended learning that combines classroom learning and the online system, has the function of substitution that is the alternate function within the limits existing on the material and tasks, and (c) evaluating the implementation of e-learning to help educators deliver the materials and tasks, enhance the enthusiasm of learners, and supporting facilities constraints of e-learning which is not maximized. 2) The obstacles in the implementation of e-learning are network problems, time constraints to upload the material, low budget, and no specialized staff in dealing with the supervision of e-learning.
