THE EFFORTS OF THE POLICE IN TACKLING KLITHIH BY STUDENTS IN THE BANTUL

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research aims to: (1) describe the efforts of the police in tackling klithih by students in Bantul, (2) know the police in tackling obstacles klithih (3) to identify police efforts to overcome obstacles in tackling klithih. This type of research is descriptive research with qualitative research approach. Mechanical determination of subjects using purposive. Subject in this research is Idik Chief III Unit of Satreskrim and one member Satsabhara. Technique data collecting by interview and documentation. Technical inductive data analysis include data reduction, categorization, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The research results show that (1) the efforts of the police in tackling klithih by students in Bantul conducted preventive and repressive. Preventive measures is to provide counseling criminal law for the public and students, declaration of student anti-gang students, anti-fight, anti-violence and anti-drug raid against the students in the afternoon and evening, socialize the danger of klithih, while the repressive efforts, namely with the investigation and police investigations (2) barriers experienced: the barriers to preventive efforts of society and learners are less enthusiastic about taking legal counseling, declaration of student anti-gang students, anti-fight, anti-violence and anti-drug can not be carried out simultaneously, the vehicle for carry away students teraring raid insufficient, night raids is difficult to determine the target, the less enthusiastic learners attended socialization klithih danger. Barriers repressive efforts: the scene changes, the victim did not know the identity of the perpetrators klithih, suspects there is not already captured; (3) Measures to overcome obstacles in preventive measures: coordination with local police, giving interlude motivational video lawless, make a schedule at the same time for the implementation of the declaration of student anti-gang students, anti tawur, anti-violence and anti-drug for Bantul SHS Bantul, cooperation with municipal police and Traffic. A repressive measure, Satsabhara sent to the scene, check CCTV and ask the people closest to the victim, in cooperation with the Police Traffic and police station in Indonesia to help catch suspects klithih the DPO.
