Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai: (1) Alasan penyelenggaraan pendidikan damai di YIPC Regional Yogyakarta, (2) Kegiatan pembelajaran pendidikan damai di YIPC Regional Yogyakarta, dan (3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pendidikan damai di YIPC Regional Yogyakarta dalam membangun sikap toleran.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subyek penelitian adalah koordinator fasilitator nasional, koordinator fasilitator regional, dan fasilitator YIPC Regional Yogyakarta. Setting penelitian di Sekolah Pascasarjana Universitas Gajah Mada sebagai lokasi resmi dan beberapa lokasi lain yang sifatnya fleksibel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Peneliti adalah instrumen utama yang dibantu pedoman observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Uji validitas data melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Alasan penyelenggaraan pendidikan damai di YIPC dilandasi secara kultural oleh dua hal: (a) Kondisi Yogyakarta yang plural rentan konflik; (b) Peran pemuda sebagai agent of peace dalam membangun generasi damai. (2) Pendidikan damai di YIPC terdiri atas beberapa bentuk kegiatan: (a) Peace Camp, (b) Reguler Meeting; (c) Kerjasama dengan pihak luar; dengan materi: (a) Nilai-nilai perdamaian, (b) Dialog lintas iman, (c) Kitab suci; yang strategi pembelajarannya: (a) Mengembangkan pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, serta (b) Membangun lingkungan kondusif. (3) Faktor Pendukung pendidikan damai: (a) Hubungan kekeluargaan erat, (b) Kombinasi materi pendidikan damai dan dialog lintas iman, (c) Dukungan dana melalui kegiatan kewirausahaan, (d) Jejaring luas. Faktor penghambat pendidikan damai: (a) Bentuk komunitas tidak mengikat anggota, (b) Dana terbatas, (d) Tantangan masyarakat yang menganggap YIPC liberal dan melakukan sinkretisme.

Abstract
This research aims to desribe about: (1) The reason of organization of peace education in YIPC Regional Yogyakarta, (2) Learning activity in peace education in YIPC, and (3) Supporting and inhibiting factors of peace education in YIPC in building tolerant attitudes.This research is the qualitative with descriptive approach.The subject of the research in this study is coordinator of national facilitator, coordinator of regional facilitator, and facilitator of YIPC Regional Yogyakarta. The research setting was at Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies in Gajah Mada University and some other flexible location. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman models, i.e. reduction, presentation of data, and conclusion. The validation test of the data is through from the source and technique triangulations.The results of this research show: (1) reason for the implementation of peace education in YIPC in the cultural background by two situations: (a) the plural condition of Yogyakarta which is susceptible to conflict and (b) the student’s role as agent of peace to build a peace generation. (2) The learning activity in peace education was consists of several forms of activities are: (a) Peace Camp, (b) Reguler meeting, (c) Collaboration with other communities; with learning materials are: (a) Peace values, (b) Interfaith dialogue, (c) Scriptural Reasoning; withlearning strategies are: (a) developed knowledge, attitudes, and skills, (b) Build a condusive environment. (3) The supporting factors are: (a) the close of the family relationship, (b) the learning material which is combining the peace values and interfaith dialogue, (c) the entrepreneur activity for the raising fund, (d) wide network. The inhibiting are: (a) the community forms can’t binding members, (b) the limited funds, (c)challenges from society who consider YIPC liberal and do syncretism.
