PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PEMBAYARAN SPP BERBASIS WEB DAN SMS GATEWAY

Abstrak
Pemnfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) pada bidang pendidikan belum maksimal. Salah satunya adalah pengelolaan data pembayaran SPP di sebagian sekolah masih menggunakan cara konvensional dan belum terkomputerisasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web dan menggunakan SMS Gateway yang dapat membantu pengelolaan data pembayaran SPP, serta mengetahui kualitasnya berdasarkan standar kualitas perangkat lunak ISO 9126 pada aspek functionality, reliability, usability, dan efficiency. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model waterfall untuk pengembangannya yang meliputi empat tahap, yaitu analisis, desain, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem informasi berbasis web ini dikembangankan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, serta untuk tampilan antarmuka menggunakan desain responsive dari Framework Bootstrap. Pengujian dilakukan dengan kuesioner untuk aspek functionality dan usability, sedangkan untuk aspek reliability dan efficiency menggunakan tool dan software pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) sistem informasi pembayaran SPP berbasis web dan SMS Gateway dikembangkan dengan menggunakan PHP, MySQL, dan Framework Bootstrap. Tahap pengembangannya meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, tahap desain, tahap implementasi, dan tahap pengujian, serta (2) hasil pengujian aspek functionality mendapat nilai 1, di mana fungsi 100% sudah berjalan dengan benar. Hasil pengujian aspek reliability mendapatkan nilai 99,2% dengan hasil success. Hasil pengujian aspek usability mendapatkan hasil 74,8% (baik) dengan nilai Alpha Cronbach 0,960 (excellent). Hasil pengujian aspek efficiency mendapatkan rata-rata load time 1,52 detik (dapat diterima).

Abstract
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) utilizations in education have not been maximized. One of them is data management in payment of the tuition fee in most schools that still use conventional method and has not been computerized. Based on the problem above, this research aims to design and develop a web-based information system and use SMS Gateway which can help data management in payment of tuition fee, as well as knowing its quality based on the software quality standard of ISO 9126 in aspects of functionality, reliability, usability and efficiency. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method with waterfall process model which has four phases, they are analysis, design, implementation, and testing. This web-based information system was developed using PHP and MySQL, with the User Interface (UI) was designed by using Responsive Design from Bootstrap Framework. The testing phase was done with questionnaires in aspects of functionality and usability, while tools and various software testing used in aspects of reliability and efficiency. The results of this research are: (1) the web-based information system of tuition fee payment and SMS Gateway was developed using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap Framework. The phases of the development process include requirement analysis phase, design phase, implementation phase and testing phase, and (2) the testing result in aspect of functionality get mark 1, which the functions 100% has running properly. The testing result in aspect of reliability get mark 99.2% which is successful. In aspect of usability got 74.9% (good) with Alpha Cronbach value 0.952 (excellent). At last, the result in aspect of efficiency get a grade B with average score is 80.63 and load time average is 1.52 seconds (acceptable).
