DEVELOPING LEARNING STYLE INFORMATION SYSTEM BASE ON ANDROID

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop learning style information systems based on android to know and provide information on students learning style in each class, (2) know the quality of software developed based on standard ISO/IEC 25010 on functional suitability, compatibility, and usability. This research uses research methods Research and Development (RnD) and software development procedures Rational Unified Process (RUP) which consists of 4 stages namely inception, elaboration, construction and transition. The results of this research are 1) learning style information systems based on android to know and provide information on students learning style in each class, to find out which students learning style, developed systems using VAK Learning Styles Questionnaire from Sarah (2015), 2) the results of software testing using a quality standard ISO/IEC 25010 on aspect (1) functional suitability aspects results in 100% complete and on the functionality of learning style test there is conformity between the results of the system with the VAK Learning Styles Questionnaire used, (2) the compatibility software is 100% compatible from co-existence side, various operating system, device type, and screen size, (3) usability of the software scored 79.83% and got a decent predicates.
