DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION OF DICTIONARY LATIN BIOLOGY FOR STUDENT LEARNING MEDIA SMA NEGERI 01 NGAGLIK BASED ANDROID

Abstract

The Latin dictionary is a media for students in biology learning. The dictionary makes it easier for students to search for the latin names of plants and animals, but used of dictionaries makes students bored and difficult to find Latin names one by one. A mediua of learning such as a Latin name dictionary on a smartphone is required by students. By paying attention to the problem, this study aims to design software called Kamus Nama Latin (Kantin) Biology, which is android-based application for student learning media SMA Negeri 01 Ngaglik. Researchers use Research and Development (RnD) method with waterfall model process. Testing the quality of application using ISO 25010 standard. The test results on some aspects functional usability 100% function goes well and declared very feasible, 81% compatibility declared very feasible, performance efficiency with result of time behavior 0,2 second / thread, 21Mb CPU and 25% average memory declared feasible, usability 78% declared feasible.
