PERANAN ORANGTUA TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL ANAK TUNARUNGU USIA 4-6 TAHUN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh peranan orangtua dalam melindungi dan menjaga, mendidik dan melatih, serta memberi cinta dan kasih sayang secara parsial dan secara bersama-sama terhadap keterampilan social anak tunarungu usia 4-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Ex-Post Facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orangtua anak tunarungu. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan pedoman observasi. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Peranan orangtua dalam melindungi dan menjaga berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan social anak tunarungu usia 4-6 tahun sebesar 11,58%, (2) Peranan orangtua dalam mendidik dan melatih berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan social anak tunarungu usia 4-6 tahun sebesar 17,04%, (3) Peranan orangtua dalam memberi cinta dan kasih sayang berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan social anak tunarungu usia 4-6 tahun sebesar 2,68%, dan (4) Peranan melindungi dan menjaga, mendidik dan melatih, serta memberi cinta dan kasih sayang secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan social anak tunarungu usia 4-6 tahun sebesar 31,3%.

Abstract
This research aims to get information about the effect of parent’s role in protecting and watching over, educating and training, and also giving love and affection partially and simultaneously on social skill of deaf children aged 4-6 years. This research was Ex Post Facto study with quantitative research approach. The research sample was 40 deaf children’s parents. The data were collected by using a questionnaire and observation guidelines. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive analysis, simple regression analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are: (1) Parent’s role in protecting dan watching over has an effect on their deaf children social skills with contribution of 11.58%, (2) Parent’s role in educating and training has an effect on their deaf children social skills with contribution of 17.04%, (3) Parent’s role in giving love and affection has an effect on their deaf children social skills with contribution of 2.68%, and (4) Parent’s role in protecting dan watching over, educating and training, also giving love and affection simultaneously have an effect on their deaf children social skills with contribution of 31.3%.
