PERAN KOMITE SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN ANAK TUNARUNGU DI SLB B KARNNAMANOHARA

Abstract


ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peran Komite Sekolah sebagai
pemberi pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol, dan penghubung dalam meningkatkan mutu
pembelajaran anak tunarungu di SLB B Karnnamanohara. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post
facto. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan teknik survei menggunakan kuesioner serta
dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru, kepala sekolah dan pengurus Komite Sekolah. Teknik
analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan perhitungan presentase. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa besarnya peran Komite Sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu
pembelajaran anak tunarungu di SLB B Karnnamanohara tergolong rendah, yaitu sebesar 48,94%,
yang meliputi: (1) Peran Komite sekolah sebagai pemberi pertimbangan tergolong sangat rendah, yaitu
sebesar 39,76%. (2) Peran Komite Sekolah sebagai pendukung tergolong rendah, yaitu sebesar
55,06%. (3) Peran Komite Sekolah sebagai pengontrol tergolong rendah, yaitu sebesar 54,45%. (4)
Peran Komite Sekolah sebagai penghubung tergolong rendah, yaitu sebesar 46,50%.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine how much the role of School Commitee as advisory agency,
supporting agency, controlling agency, and relation agency to improve the learning quality of deaf
children at SLB B Karnnamanohara. This research is ex-post facto research. Data collection methode
with survey techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The subjects of this study were
teachers, school principals and administrators of the School Committee at the SLB B
Karnnamanohara. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive statistics with percentage
calculations. The results showed that the role of the School Committee to improve the learning quality
of deaf children in the SLB B Karnnamanohara was relatively low, which amounted to 48.94%, which
included: (1) The role of School Committee as advisory agency is very low, which is 39.76%. (2) The
role of the School Committee as a supporting agency is low, which is 55.06%. (3) The role of the
School Committee as a controlling agency is low, which is 54.45%. (4) The role of the School
Committee as a relation agency is low, which is 46.50%.
