Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan media flash card terhadap peningkatan
kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan 1-5 pada siswa tunagrahita sedang di SLB Yapenas
Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen
dengan subjek tunggal atau Single Subject Research (SSR). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini yaitu: pedoman tes kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan dan pedoman observasi.
Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SLB Yapenas Yogyakarta. Analisis data yang
dipergunakan dalam penelitian Eksperimen dengan Single Subject Research (SSR) yaitu
menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan setelah diberi
perlakukan mengggunakan media flashcard diketahui aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran
87,5% dan hasil tes kemampuan mengenal bilangan pada tahap Baseline-1 diperoleh nilai 50,
sedangkan pada Baseline-2 diperoleh 83,33, dengan hasil tersbeut menunjukan ada peningkatan
kemampuan mengenal bilangan anak. Hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan ada keefektifan media
flash card terhadap peningkatan kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada siswa tunagrahita
sedang di SLB Yapenas Yogyakarta.

Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of flash card media on improving the ability to
recognize the number symbol on mentally disabled students in SLB Yapenas Yogyakarta. The
research method used in this study is an experimental method with single subject research (SSR).
The instruments used in this study are: guidelines for the ability to recognize number symbols and
observation guidelines. Subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SLB Yapenas
Yogyakarta. Data analysis used in the Experimental research with Single Subject Research (SSR) is
using descriptive statistics. Based on the results of the study and discussion after being treated using
flashcard media, it was known that the students' activities in participating in the study were 87.5%
and the results of the ability to recognize numbers at Baseline-1 stage was 50, while at Baseline-2 it
was obtained 83.33, with the results showing there is an increase in the ability to recognize child
numbers. The results of this study concluded that the effectiveness of flash card media on improving
the ability to recognize the number symbol on mentally retarded students was in SLB Yapenas
Yogyakarta.
