Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan
membuat motif sulaman di SLB Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan
kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subyek penelitian berjumlahtigaanak tunagrahita
kategori ringan. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan
dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah berupa
reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dalam
pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan membuat motif sulaman, kegiatan yang dilakukan
guru sebelum mengajarkan yaitu persiapan sebelum menyulam, penyajian materi, kegiatan
inti, dan evaluasi. Strategi pembelajaran menyulam menggunakan reinforcement positif,
promting, dan fading. Kendala yang dihadapi anak antara lain alokasi waktu dan materi
pembelajaran membuat motif sulaman pada anak tunagrahita kategori ringan.

Abstract
This study aims to describe the implementation of learning skills to make embroidery
motifs in SLB Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.The study uses a qualitative approach with a type of
descriptive research. The study subjects were three students with intellectual disabilitiesof the
mild category. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, interviews, and
documentation. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative with steps in the form of data
reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results showed that in the
implementation of learning skills to make embroidery motifs, the activities carried out by the
teacher before teaching were preparation before embroidering, presentation of material, core
activities, and evaluation. Embroider learning strategies use positive reinforcement,
promting, and fading. Obstacles faced by children include the allocation of time and learning
materials to make embroidery motifs on students with intellectual disabilities of the mild
category.
